tbh...it depends

If you’re planning a wedding in Houston, chances are you’ve got a lot of moving parts. Between large venues, separate getting ready locations, and the very real possibility of traffic throwing off a timeline, having a second shooter can make a big difference in how smoothly your day runs—and how completely your story is told.

Second shooters allow us to be in two places at once. One of us can be with you while you're getting ready, while the other is with your partner in a completely different part of the city. We’re able to catch those tiny, emotional moments that unfold naturally—your mom zipping up your dress, your partner nervously tying their tie. During the ceremony, one of us can focus on you walking down the aisle while the other captures your partner’s face seeing you for the first time.

In a city like Houston, where venues are often expansive and timelines can get tight, having an extra set of eyes and hands helps everything feel calmer and more fluid. It’s not about “more” photos—it’s about better coverage, more honest moments, and telling a fuller version of your day.

If you’re not sure whether you need a second shooter, I’m always happy to hear more about what you’re planning and talk through what would best support your day.
